Cordy was a lieutanent in Company E., Bradford's Battalion, 13th
Tennessee Cavalry, Union
Army in the Civil War. Most of the soldiers who served in Company E
died between April, 1864 and September, 1864, and were buried in
Andersonville National Cemetery, Georgia. A few were buried in Memphis
National Cemetery.

Enrolled 1/10/1864 in Union City, Tenn
Mustered in: 3/1/1864

Lt. Cordy B. Revelle was unanimously elected as 1st Lt. of this
company and served and acted as such from the 10th of Jany. 1864 until
his death, and would have been mustered as such had not the engagement
at Ft. Pillow come on at that time.
He Performed all the duties of 1st Lt. until killed
